The first 'kitten' post
So what to tell....what to tell....
Brittan is in the midst of antibiotics. She has a sinus infection, but since the meds began, you can't really tell anymore. She was pretty sick at first. She'll be 3 in October as you know, so we're going to start pushing a little harder with the potty training. It's just not going to be easy with her. She is NOT interested. She doesn't like potty chairs or toilets, but sometimes she'll sit for a 'spell'. I got her some training panties, and we'll probably try some fun books for her to read. I also ordered a little video on potty training, so *sigh*....wish me luck. She has all kinds of phrases now. Including the word STUPID. We're trying to erase that one. She asked me today what I was doing. I told her I was tying my shoes. She laid out and put her hands under her chin and said, "boring boring boring." NICE
Kaelen is on a field trip as we speak. His Papa took a day off of work to chaperon. Kaelen could NOT be more excited! I bought them 'matching' Lunchables...too cute. They're going to the park and 'kidtropolis'. That's a setup at the chidlren's museum where kids run the town. Kaelen has promised to give Papa an 'allowance' while they're there.
For anyone soooo concerned: Kaelen got a haircut. It looks REALLY nice. I had to bribe him with a box of Legos, but whatever....the hair is short. His candle sales went pretty well. I think with the help of Grandpa's donation, he'll have at least 1/2 of his camp paid off. He's more excited about his 'second' camp this summer, but I think this more expensive one will be a lot more than he can foresee. All in all, it looks like he'll have a good summer. The neighborhood pool opens up this weekend, so maybe Kaelen can take Grandpa swimming. Grandpa is coming into town for career week. Kaelen chose him over Papa, because, ''Papa doesn't meet a lot of famous people in his work.'' Yeah............
